“I feel called to serve as a high school teacher, using education as a way to support the work of Bible translation. I know firsthand how vital it is to have God’s Word in our own language—without it, I would be lost and in a much darker place. Teaching through Tyndale Bible Translators feels like a natural way to use the gifts God has given me.
For many years, I sensed God’s call to teach, though I wasn’t sure where that would take me. This past summer, I returned to Papua New Guinea—speaking Tok Pisin again, making music with my family, and joining in ministry with Tok Pisin Lotu. It was awesome, and Lord willing, I hope to return to my childhood home of Ukarumpa and teach for the next one to two years.”
