Let’s Get Started!

Follow these steps:

  1. I am willing to commit to 1-2 years. (A future career is possible).
  2. I have read the Financial Considerations.?
  3. I’ve read/prayed over Romans 1:1-32, Romans 13:1-14, I Timothy 5:22, Titus 3:8-11.
  4. I can abide by these verses. [ Do you struggle with these? See NOTE below!]
  5. I do agree to and am able to sign the TBT Statement of Faith?
  6. I talked with and have the support of my pastor to pursue  overseas missions. Since most TBT missionaries are busy serving overseas, please do contact us when you have your pastor’s support to pursue missions.
  7. Call us with your questions and then please complete the application: New to missions? Click here: Tyndale-BT-Application-Form-Fillable-2025-04 (download and save to your computer). Print this or fill it out on your computer and email it to us.

NOTE: Addictions can be more than substance abuse or sexual addiction. Satan will do ANYTHING to distract you from God and serving others. But the standards that overseas missionaries need to live by are higher than other believers.

Since TBT works with church leaders in local and national churches, we need mature Christians to work with local people as Bible translation facilitators. Serving alongside national Christians means that we may need to give up some of our rights.

For example, in Papua New Guinea (PNG), drinking alcohol is viewed as a sin by most Christians. This means that if you serve with Tyndale in PNG, you will agree not to drink alcohol while you are anywhere within the country’s border.

After you read and pray about the Bible passages above, if you have struggles in any of these areas, then please do not yet apply to Tyndale Bible Translators, until you and your pastor are convinced you are ready.

Videos to Watch if you are considering an overseas assignment:
