“In August 1992 we arrived in Papua New Guinea to serve God in Bible translation. In 1993 we started working with the Gizrra people to learn the language, produce literacy materials and translate the New Testament.
“In December 2020 this New Testament, together with Genesis, Jonah and Ruth, was dedicated to God. Early 2025 Elly helped two Gizrra translators to get started doing translation work of the Old Testament more independently, but she mostly works as a translation consultant helping other translation projects.
Nico is assisting the work of Tyndale Bible Translators by doing the financial administration of the coffee project and by helping with the paperwork for visas and work permits so other missionaries can serve in Papua New Guinea.”
