PNG Admin - Lucy Devlin
After God miraculously healed the heart condition of one of Lucy’s seven children, Lucy sensed a clear call to serve Him. In response to this calling, Lucy has spent the past several years serving with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in Papua New Guinea. During her time with YWAM, she played a key role in establishing a base accounting program, helping to strengthen financial management and accountability within the organization.
Prior to her work with YWAM, Lucy served for more than 20 years as a project and finance manager across several NGOs and government agencies. Her extensive experience in financial oversight, project coordination, and administration has uniquely equipped her for ongoing ministry and leadership.
As a citizen of Papua New Guinea, Lucy feels a strong calling to contribute to the development of national capacity in finance and administration. We are praying God continues to provide the funds for Lucy work alongside Joyce Mattocks (Started July 15, 2026) to help build the PNG finance and administration team for Tyndale Bible Translators (TBT), with the goal of fostering greater local sustainability and long-term effectiveness.
Lucy currently has some PNG-based funding support. TBT has also established a designated project—the “PNG Admin”—to help cover essential administrative costs. Prayerfully, this includes provision for housing for her family and school tuition for her triplet children, who are in 4th grade in 2026. We are grateful that funding has recently been provided to cover a year of tuition for her three 4th grade triplets. This costs $988 monthly at the mission school.
